How to create a company in Tally
- Go to Gateway of Tally then Alt + F3 then Create Company
- Enter the basic information, i.e. name, postal name and address of the company and so on.
- Select Accounts Only or Accounts with Inventory as per company requirements.
- In the financial year from, the first day of the current financial year, for example, 1-4-2021 will be displayed by default, which can be changed according to requirements.
- Enter the Tally Vault password if required.
- Press Y or Enter to accept and save.
